Zoom Whitening
What is Zoom Teeth Whitening?
Zoom teeth whitening is a professional dental treatment using a hydrogen peroxide bleaching gel and a special LED light to whiten teeth. This combination of gel and light helps remove deep stains from the enamel and dentin layers of the tooth, resulting in a visibly brighter smile.
The process usually takes 45 minutes to an hour, making it a quick and convenient option for those looking for immediate results. Our trained dental professionals perform it in a controlled environment, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
How Does It Work?
The Zoom teeth whitening procedure starts by applying a protective covering over the lips and gums to protect them from the bleaching gel. Then, the hydrogen peroxide gel is applied to the teeth, which breaks down into oxygen molecules that penetrate deep within the enamel and remove stains.
Once the gel is applied, we can use a special LED to activate and accelerate the whitening process. This light helps enhance the gel’s effects, allowing it to work more effectively in removing stubborn stains.
After 15 minutes, we remove the gel, and we can apply a new layer of fresh gel. We repeat this process three times, and in just one hour, you can see a significant difference in the color of your teeth.

- Long-lasting Results: With proper oral hygiene habits and regular touch-ups, Zoom teeth whitening results can last several months to a year.
- Customizable Treatment: The intensity of the whitening gel and duration of the procedure can be adjusted according to the individual’s needs, providing a personalized treatment for each patient.
- Reduced Sensitivity: Unlike other teeth whitening methods, Zoom uses a desensitizing agent in its gel, making it suitable for sensitive teeth.
What to Expect During the Procedure
Before starting the procedure, your dental professional will perform a thorough oral examination to ensure you are a good candidate for Zoom teeth whitening. They may also clean your teeth to remove any plaque or tartar buildup that could hinder the effectiveness of the whitening process. If necessary, they may also take X-rays to identify any underlying dental issues.
During the procedure, you will be seated in a comfortable chair, and your lips and gums will be covered to protect them from the bleaching gel. You will then have a special mouthpiece placed inside your mouth to hold it open and keep your tongue out of the way.
While the gel is working on your teeth, you can relax or even listen to music. Some people may experience slight tingling or mild sensitivity during the procedure, but it is temporary and subsides once the treatment is complete.
